Keystone XL Pipeline Act was introduced into Congress by Rep. Cramer, Kevin (R-ND) and assigned H.R. 3. The House voted today on H.R. 3 and approved the measure on a 266 to 153 count. Twenty eight democrats voted in favor of the measure. Nine representatives did not vote and Republican representative Justin Amash voted present.

The pipeline would be built by TransCanada Corp. and would run 1,179 miles from Hardisty, Alberta, to Steele City, Neb., where it would connect with existing pipelines to refineries on the Gulf Coast.
