Senator John McCain, former Republican candidate for President of the United States, could have been a great statesman after his return to the Senate. Instead, he’s become a loudmouth fool on Capital Hill – pushing wild conspiracy theories rather than healing our political system.
He and several other republicans have accused President Obama and Democrats of presenting misleading vital information about a Benghazi incident in which four Americans lost their lives in an apparent terrorist attack. He came to the microphones over the weekend clamoring for a Watergate style investigation.
But instead of attending a security briefing today, McCain skipped gathering knowledge and held a press conference.
This is why grandstanding is dangerous. It can come back and bite you.
