This is not finished but there are two important features in the 2.4.4 version. However, it has been tested with WordPress 4.2 Beta 2.
Feature One
Widgets are fixed so that they show the proper count of posts when logged in or out of the site. The top image shows the visitor is not logged into the site. The second image shows the visitor is logged into the site and has permission to see threads in a hidden forum.
Feature Two
There is a new option for administrators. The default forum feature was removed after numerous people wanted an easier way to choose the forums at the time of posting a WordPress article. Others have since complained that they want to set a default and be done with it. There is now an option to set a default forum, thus overriding the pull down list of forums.
This version should become available to developers after testing the release on this site.
As always, upgrading requires saving all the new options and clearing cache.
Attach needs to be fixed too.
Haven't had time to test the new build – is the widget with thread replies working now? previous version gave me an sql error
Actually, I found a workaround – you don't need that many queries in the widget. I was able to call the category and post replies in the "latest from the forum" widget, without adding more queries.
awesome, I was just about to ask about this. also are you able to edit the forum option after the wp page is saved?

This feature is not complete and might help new customers (not upgrades). The idea is to let the admin decide if they want to use the absolute path or the relative path for finding XenForo. The problem is that an incorrect relative path setting leads to a blank page (no error message). Obviously that cannot fly 🙂

I see LPH added a fix in the bug fix forum. Maybe you could post your fix in that area too.
