Owners of valid licenses are welcome to download the 2.x series. Log into the website, go to your shopping account, and you should see a link for downloading the new version.
This is a large update with code changes. If you are comfortable with the 1.x series then I strongly suggest you test 2.x on a server prior to using it on a live site. The bug testing has only been on three servers locally – and this is always a challenge.
- WordPress administrators must set the WP role for the user in the WP admin panel.
- New options are available for the featured image as well as text links.
- New author link code to improve integration between WP and XF.
- Minor bug fixes throughout the code.
