Microsoft’s $26.2 billion purchase of LinkedIn is official.
Today is an exciting day, one I’ve been looking forward to since June. It marks the close of the agreement for Microsoft to acquire LinkedIn and the beginning of our journey to bring together the world’s leading professional cloud and the world’s leading professional network.
According to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, the company plans to integrate LinkedIn into Office 365 and Microsoft Windows. Users will be able to create a resume in Microsoft Word and discover as well as apply for jobs on LinkedIn. Video tutorials on LinkedIn will be available on Office 365 and Microsoft Windows.
