Mingchi Kuo of DigiTimes Research states Apple is preparing a 5 to 7-inch iPad for release in the first quarter 2011. A $400 price range is the predicted retail sale price.
As stated by Seth Weintraub of 9to5 Mac, this new rumored product would be in direct competition with the Dell Mini 5 (The Streak).
This would absolutely be a stupid move by Apple and goes against the idea of building a new platform, a hybrid between a computer and an iPhone. This screen size would destroy the Apple story.
