Jim Lynch from IT World brings up an excellent question, what is the most popular Linux desktop distribution? Mr. Lynch suggests Linux Mint has overtaken the top spot and supports the idea with the number of hits on DistroWatch’s Page Hit Ranking.
Actually, desktop users should pay attention to Mageia, a fork of Mandriva Linux. Specifically check out the Development Release: Mageia 4 Beta 2 made available earlier in December. This project is community based and destined to rule the desktop.
