Lifehacker published Seven DIY iPad Stands for Six Bucks or Less. A far easier stand is to simply use the small dock from Apple. This allows you to charge the unit while it is secure. Yes, it is true that landscape mode is not available with the dock but I’m finding that I rarely use landscape.
