The Intel® Education Tablets were announced today and so my first question was where does one go to buy one? Next, I wanted to know how much these were going to cost. Next, who is actually building one of these creatures?
Sadly, no details are available regarding pricing or availability.
I admit that the snap-on magnification lens for the 10-inch device looks enticing. I can see students using it in the classroom.

The specifications are not too bad. And yes, I fixed the spelling of software in the above table copied from the Intel site. They probably didn’t see the missing letter “t” in the word.
Will these specifications entice a school administrator? Most likely not for this school year. Budgeting was done for our district in July. Any type of funding would need to be third-party
