[edit] Unit 0: Introduction to Classic Education
Education rests on the assumption that people learn. The term classic education refers to first rank, or standard, learning.
This text, Classic Education, addresses classic learning in three sections.
The first section (Units 1, 2, and 3) provides background about the social institution of education, especially its classic learning processes and content.
The second section (Units 4 and 5) describes features of learning principles that have existed throughout records of learning and likely will exist in the future.
The third section (Units 6, …) gives priority to potential uses of learning principles with Tablet and other mobile PCs not yet available in the public marketplace.
Together, these sections introduce the generic vocabulary, logic, and content of education that transcends social, religious, political, technolocal, and popular human moments.
