Hi,How do you rate the quality of this Journal? and do you recommend publishing in it?Thanksiris
You ask a straight forward question, Iris. I don’t have a straight forward response. The purpose of education publication is to share insights about conditions that increase student learning rates. The quality of a journal reflects the quality of articles submitted and accepted for publication. Traditional hardcopy peer reviewed journals have each established a niche in the academic market. Online journals compete with hardcopy journals for editorial staff, articles and peer reviewers. My observation is that many education personnel evaluation committees know and rank hardcopy journal publications above newer online publications. The use of that generalization for an individual educator deciding whether or not to publish in a specific journal will likely continue to vary according to the quality of the educator’s articles. With these givens, I urge educators to submit manuscripts to both hardcopy and online journals. Keep the information flowing through whichever editors agree to publish your insights.
