Teaching in a public high school is filled with opportunities and challenges. I started teaching physics in August, three weeks after school started. In order to keep teaching, the CSET Subtest II (220) in physics needed to be passed.
My official letter was emailed on Friday night and I was successful in passing the test. This means a five year credential in physics is being prepared.
My current credentials are biology, chemistry, physics, and industrial technology. I let the CTE credential go after earning the industrial technology credential. I didn’t see a reason to pay for both.
Now, rather than studying for the exam each night, I’m able to relax and focus on lesson planning, grading, and the more fun aspects in life — learning to program in PHP.
