I called Promethean tech support Friday to ask the settings to achieve the best resolution for Flipcharts. My beef has been the wasted space to the left and right sides of flipcharts. Promethean generally states to just change the color of the background (World) but I wanted the whole Flipchart to fill the board.
All of this started with an import of PowerPoints last year. The imported PowerPoints defaulted to 960 x 720 and the charts are not well spaced. Changing the charts to 1024 x 768 fixing the spacing problems but this is very tedious. After all, over 1200 slides were imported.
After speaking with the technician, I finally changed the computer screen resolution to 1280 x 1024, the projector to fill, and flipcharts to 1024 x 768. Flipcharts projected to a full screen now fill the complete Promethean board.
