Initial pre-orders of Apple iPads will be delivered on April 3, however, as first published by Planet iPad, anyone ordering today forward must wait until April 12. The reserve an iPad link on Apple’s website is also gone. Never fear, though, Apple iPads will be in Best Buy stores as well as available for in-store pickup. The Palmdale, California store isn’t expecting a huge demand but will have them in stock. If all else fails, you can drive out to this desert store.
In other news, AppAdvice has a walk-through on the new App Store for iPad. Engadget points to AppAnnie who published screenshots of the store.
As one commenter stated, “I think App Annie either has (1) A friend on the short list of reviewers of iPad who have one to evaluate, (2) Works for Apple, (3) Is a reviewer, or is a very lucky hacker who happened upon a unknown data pipe into the iTunes Store servers.”
Well, I neither work for Apple, have an evaluation unit, and I’m not very lucky. Hehe.
