Apple iPad Review Units

Curie shows how to properly begThere are times that an article contains something that appears extremely funny when taken out of context. Consider Dan’s statement at the end of his latest blurb Apple Preps iPads For Gadget Reviewers:

It’s unclear if Apple will be shipping wi-fi-only or wi-fi/3G iPads to reviewers, but it makes sense that they’d send both, if they’re available.

Dan Frommer probably doesn’t mean the apparent greed in his statement. He probably means that – in his opinion – a fair and balanced review would require both a WiFi only and WiFi + 3G product. It does seem an odd thing to publish, though. Maybe he isn’t on the list to get a review unit.

Regardless, time is marching forward and according to this article review units are expected to ship soon. This should give reviewers a week to try out the device under different conditions.

Yes, soon we are going to go from commercial –> to reviews.

For what it is worth, I look forward to receiving my Apple iPad on April 3 via Fed Ex – just like the rest of you.
