The 2009 EUROMEDIA conference covers the latest developments in web-multimedia and communications technology while also looking at their implementation in Broadband networking, mobile computing, and broadband networking, distributed computing, telematics, E-technology and real world environments like embedded systems, security systems and training systems. New topics are human computer interaction with a focus on the interaction of users with multimodal interfaces and the usability and experiences of users with multimodal systems based on different media.

The EUROMEDIA conference is held concurrently with the ECEC and FUBUTEC conferences.
The conference is structured around 5 tracks: WEBTEC, which deals with web technology-COMTEC, which covers communications technology-MEDIATEC, which covers multimedia technology-APTEC, which provides an overview of media-integration and ETEC, which covers electronic commerce.

The conference also features special WORKSHOPS on E-Business, D-TV, Medical Imaging, Facial and Biometric Recognition, Computer Graphics and Cyber Security.

Only original papers, which have not been published elsewhere, will be accepted for publication

March 20, 2009: Authors Provide Camera-ready Manuscript.

Heiny, Ph.D. is a retired professor, social scientist, and business partner with previous academic appointments as a public school classroom teacher, senior faculty, or senior research member, and administrator. Appointments included at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Peabody College and the Kennedy Center now of Vanderbilt University; and Brandeis University. Dr. Heiny also served as Director of the Montana Center on Disabilities. His peer reviewed contributions to education include publication in The Encyclopedia of Education (1971), and in professional journals and conferences. He served s an expert reviewer of proposals to USOE, and on a team that wrote plans for 12 state-wide and multistate special education and preschools programs. He currently writes user guides for educators and learners as well as columns for TuxReports.com.
