Here’s an update about San Diego’s pace setting High Tech High.
All schools have API base scores above 800
100% of graduates headed off to college
All schools operate as LEAs for purposes of special education
The school’s student body is among the most ethnically diverse in the San Diego region and results on state-mandated tests place High Tech High among the highest achieving high schools in the State of California.
High Tech High will have eight schools under management within California as of September of 2005 and plans to open an additional 2-3 schools annually.
