Harvard Education Press will release in November a new book by Harvard economist, Richard Murnane, titled Data Wise: A Step-by-Step Guide to Using Assessment Results to Improve Teaching and Learning. It will feature ways for teachers and administrators to learn more effective ways to use student test results and other data to bridge the gap between testing and teaching.
The results in principle could provide information useful for improving teaching and learning. Great Schools announced this release in June 22, 2005.
