Hotmail woes

Is anyone else experiencing endless Hotmail account problems? I often get “internal error” messages, “page can’t be found” errors, blank pages and more. I know that some things are getting to me and some things go out, but that’s about all I can be sure of over the last couple weeks. Weird.

Are you on bay103 or bay104? (Look at the URL when you log in to hotmail). Those were known to be having some problems last week.

Ah, the URL indicates bay102.

I just googled for bay102 and ran across a post that describes what I’ve been encountering:

“The support person told me that 2 of every 3 calls is about problems such as….mail disappears, can’t send mail, can’t get popmail, mail is marked “virus infected”, screens have reversed video,…”

I’ve been experiencing the first three symptoms as well as page not found, blank pages.

Then it struck me: I never thought about calling Hotmail support–especially since it’s a free account. 🙂

Thanks Omar and Jonathan for pointing out the bay numbers, I’ve never much paid attention to them. Now those long URLs look a little bit shorter :-).
