Channel 9 takes you for a walk through the halls and hardware labs of Microsoft Research. These researchers are working on wall-sized displays, silicon-based machines, and lots of other cool stuff. The video is about 30 minutes long. It’s well worth it.
Oh, you also get to meet the inventor of the laser printer. He tells a great story of how the concept for the laser printer evolved and how it muddled along under the “oasis” of Xerox PARC.
