References is a simple one PHP file custom post WordPress plugin developed in November 2013. This site needed to house an APA formatted list of each article or post used in a Tux Reports post or page. The plugin simply creates a custom post. This post holds the APA formatted reference for one article.
The plugin was not used on the network because including the references at the end of an article was a challenge. The plugin was updated tonight in a few places and activated on blog 1 of the network. Using the Shortcodes Ultimate plugin and the References plugin allows the article references to be included anywhere in a WordPress post or page.
[su_heading]EXAMPLE[/su_heading]The first page to use the plugin is the ACA page. The first item in the reference list is pulled from a custom post created by the References plugin. The next step is to categorize the articles and see if they can be easily included in articles throughout the network.
The Shortcodes Ultimate plugin is a great addition to the site. Adding the new full width template to the theme was also a nice touch.

Thank you Gracie. The template was easy to make and cleans up an otherwise cluttered page.
