Boston fans may have been chanting that they wanted a game 7 but the Chicago Blackhawks had other plans. Chicago Blackhawks scored two goals in seventeen seconds near the end of game 6 to win 3-2. Most of the disappointed Boston fans didn’t even both staying as the Stanley Cup was given to the Chicago team.
The Conn Smythe Trophy for MVP was awarded to Patrick Kane of the Blackhawks.
