Toot toot! Congratulations, Lora and team. PC Magazine acknowledges your groundbreaking work on TabletPCPost.com. She really underplays this acknowledgment, but I don’t have to!
I watched and listened as she worked with Loren and Layne to cobble this site from nothing but an idea. Nothing like their idea for Tablet PC Post existed to lift, copy, or adapt. After creating the prototype, they had to generate recruitment and marketing plans. These activities took many tedious hours of thoughtful trial-and-errors over months.
Looking back, they probably see easier ways to have created Tablet PC Post. But, while doing it, they followed the path of other creators: one, then two steps forward, followed by Ooops, a mistake, and then figured out how to take the next step. They did this again and again during the common 10PM to 2AM schedule of many ISVs who still have their day jobs.
Post offers 148 authorized free downloads of Tablet PC software in 17 Categories. People have downloaded well over 87,000 copies.
ISvs may contact Lora, if you have software you want considered for download through this site.
Yeah, team!!! Keep up the good work.
And thanks for waking me up last night during your 10-2 shift to tell me about this acknowledgment, Lora.
