Learners Distinguish How to from What They Learn |
|
A Learners’ View (ALV) is the Straightest and Fastest Path with the Least Number of Steps to Learning, the Oxygen Of Social Life. Tip for Using a Learners’ View (ALV)Pick up a piece of paper. Punch a hole in it with a pin. Place that hole over one of your eyes. Close the other eye. Look through the hole. Now, delete everything you see except for what must occur for you to solve a problem such as counting and writing down the number of people’s feet you can see move in one second. You have just used a learners’ view (ALV). Scientists have refined for over a century how they make these observations of what people do to learn. But they use the same principle you just used: systematically remove all but those behavior patterns that you must observe for learning to occur. The term a learners’ view represents commonalities across results of these studies. Return to Main Page Summary of Classic Education |
