According to the Taipei Times, Citigroup projects that ASUS will sell 200,000 to 500,000 units of the Eee PC yet this year. The small, low-cost mobile PC is expected to start shipping in the US in September.

More information is available about the first service pack for Windows Vista, expect a finalized version in the first quarter of 2008. Increased hardware support, desktop search, and security updates are anticipated. Approximately 10,000 testers will start to receive code in the next few weeks.

As we spread the news about Windows Vista SP1 release in early 2008 and Windows XP SP3 in late 2007, it's also a good reminder to plan for the official end of availability of Windows XP -- January 31, 2008.
