CES has been a great place for resellers, retailers, and partners to get product roadmaps, not to mention a good place for press and general audience to get a peek at future products. Though the target audience for these products is consumers, there really is a variety of product types on the show floor.
Toshiba had several of its concept / prototype eMo, an ultra-mobile internet device / PC, on the show floor at CES 2008. Take a look at these photos and tell us what you think it should be called and what category it falls into. Is it a UMPC, UMD, MID, or something yet to come?

Two interesting twists happened today. First, CES organizers express dissatisfication with Las Vegas as a location for the trade show. Second, Apple introduces a new Mac Pro.
MSNBC is reporting CES organizers are in talks for a better deal. Any visitor to the trade show can attest that hotel prices during the week of CES are expensive. Some organizers claim hotel prices are typically five times a normal price.
www.akihabaranews.com reports a new UMPC from LG (name yet to come) will be displayed at CES 2008.
