A Learners’ View (ALV) Is Of Choices On The Shortest And Fastest Path To Learning, The Oxygen Of Social Life.
Main Article: Narratives
TEACHERS ARE TO PEOPLE LEARNING LESSONS as travel agents are to the movement of people from one place to another. Both use starting and ending points (objectives to reach). Both identify and use ways for people to reach their objectives from their starting points. Both have ways to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of their efforts.
Lessons Plans
Lesson plans are the travel plans teachers arrange for learners to learn on the ALV path to learning. These plans rely on six (6) generic sets of choices by teachers.
- What is the objective for the lesson?
- What social action of learners serve as a starting point for the lesson?
- What vehicle (active ingredients of learning – AIL) will be used to fuel and nurture the travel?
- What relationships need clarification among vocabulary that represents the content of the lesson?
- What obstacles will likely occur and what detours exist to avoid these obstacles?
- How long will the lesson last and how many resources will it consume during that time?
