A Learners’ View (ALV) Is Of Choices On The Shortest And Fastest Path To Learning, The Oxygen Of Social Life.
What will I learn in class today, and / How will I learn it?
That’s a puzzle, a problem for me, / Do you see?
Will you show and tell me, / The problem each lesson solves, or
Will you hide what I’m to learn / In a blizzard of sights, and sounds
For me to sort through and / Figure out how to put them together
In a way that you and others accept?
If you show and tell me straight, / Will you do so in ways
That match the choices / I will likely make, or
Will you make your own choices / That cost me more time
Than when you match mine?
This is the way I start your class / Each time I attend.
I’m here now, so / What and how will I learn today?
