A LEARNERS’ MAP OF LEARNING (ALML) displays the choice-points and their relationships among the cacophony of sights, sounds, fragrances, and other physical sensations competing for attention in the social life of learners. Relationships among these choices gives a structure, a path of learning. Teachers who earn 1.0 ratings use ALML as a guide for instruction of lessons. An airline pilot could refer to ALML as a flight plan to learning, an expected course of action with identified options should conditions require alternative actions.
