Digitimes is a great source for OEM information. The site is also wonderful because the people behind the site work hard to dig into news about some great future products. For example, Amazon is going to enter into the tablet market. Yes, Amazon.
Even though a price or even OS is not in the story, Amazon is estimating “global sales of four million units for 2011.” — Now that’s pretty powerful sales.

Put this story together with the June 15 PC Magazine story and the earlier May 3 story from Digitimes – and we still have very little specifications:
- 7 and 10-in color screen
- Touch panel
- NVIDIA Tegra 2 and quad core
- Code names Coyote and Hollywood
- Android OS
I suspect we’ll see some images start leaking just before launch.
