The Romney and Ryan ticket are polling at zero percent for blacks who state they will vote for the pair in November. In turn, the R&R party team has decided to go birther.
The first step was Romney telling a joke in Michigan – a joke cheered. It was not “a joke” met with laughter. In fact, this is how we all know Romney was not telling a joke and that he was tossing red meat to a base he has not brought over to his campaign.
Romney has now embraced birtherism – and we can now expect more racists remarks to be made by the Grand Old Poops.
The surrogates will hit with code words – foreign, welfare queens, not one of us – so that the red-necked Southern Strategy can get into full swing of things.
After all, the R&R team knows they have lost the black vote – so why not?
Actually – independents are not going to tolerate birtherism. They do not appreciate the personal attacks. In fact, the new strategy by the R&R team could cause a drop in polling – a situation in which they end up with less than zero.
