SRI International is studying the use of Tablet PCs in two of Singapore’s top schools. Both schools have all of their textbooks digitized and are using Tablet PCs in most subjects. Microsoft Asia Pacific funds the project.
The goal of this study is to describe the Tablet PC-based learning environment, including in math, science, and geography; to learn about factors that support the success of the program; and to discern the role of the Tablet PC applications in the school setting.
I wonder which U.S. schools will also allow a third party to study their Tablet PC program?
YES! I can hardly wait to read the reports.
