Facing Up to the Future

Marydee Ojala summarizes the five propositions Gary Hamel presented about the future of library sciences during the closing keynote address at the Special Libraries Association conference in Toronto. These propositions seem useful background for educators considering the use of Tablet PCs and other advanced technologies in schools. They also raise an unaddressed question about how roles of teachers and librarians change and overlap as knowledge management becomes more electronic based.
