ActivInspire is a great presentation software for producing diagrams quickly. The above diagram was produced in under 15 minutes. The work is not polished but conveys the necessary information about the structure of an atom.
ActivInspire is now my choice whenever I need to create a drawing.
By the end of the fall semester, all of my presentations were created in ActivInspire. This was simply done so that I could learn the software. What I have discovered is that charting and diagramming is quick.
The process is rather simple: The diagram is done in ActivInspire, and the snipping tool (PC) or grab tool (Mac) is used to pull an image from the software. The image is placed in Word or on a website through an upload.
Sadly, my knowledge slowed over the past few weeks because some of my production ideas are not able to be done with the software. For example, I am not able to create any animation. The reveal tool is not exactly what I need for some presentations, and hidden text can take too long to inject into a presentation.
Overall, the software is satisfying for a quick drawing. Maybe someday I’ll figure out how to animate a flipchart. Maybe.
