According to the article linked to above, Dr. Ted Humphrey is going to use the Kindle DX in his Human Event course alongside a control group that uses the more traditional paper model.
The DX is intended to be an ideal match for the class since it “covers a wide range of material from approximately 50 different sources.”
Dr. Humphrey also expresses his enthusiasm for the Kindle and being chosen as one of the pilot programs, “I was an early adopter of the Kindle and thought one could mount most of the Humanities and Social Sciences curriculum on it. I could not be more excited at being among the first to begin adapting it to classroom use.”
ASU likes new tech. They were also early adopters of Google Apps for Domains. Good for them!!
