NARRATIVES
NARRATIVES of a learners’ view (ALV) consist of stories, conversations, interviews, and comments grounded in or about a learners’ view (ALV).
Good teachers know when to show and tell, to stop, and to wait. (ALV T-Shirt Wisdom)
SECTION ONE – Using a Learners’ View (ALV) of Learning
SECTION ONE features ways for educators to blend what they do with choices learners will likely make while learning. These descriptions apply the scientific, technical results of experimental studies that have accelerated, increased, and deepened (AIDed) learning promptly and sometimes dramatically. They include how to choose to use a learners’ view (ALV) of learning; using ALV basics; a Quick-Start; Quick Tips; Guides to plan, instruct, and assess lessons, teaching and learning; as well as identifying programs with power to AID learning promptly and sometimes dramatically.
SECTION TWO – Describing a Learners’ View (ALV) of Learning
SECTION TWO features technical-scientific descriptions of a learners’ view (ALV) of learning in words familiar to educators. These describe vocabulary, relationships among this vocabulary, data sources, as parts for educators to manage on the ALV Path to learning. Descriptions distinguish how (what people do while learning) people learn from what (the subject matter of the lesson) is taught.

SECTION THREE – Implications of a Learners’ View (ALV) of Learning for Practice, Research, and Policy
SECTION THREE gives priority to implications of a learners’ view (ALV) of learning for practice, research, and policies. It includes implications of ALV for practice, research, and policies, as well as for unanswered questions about learning and education.
