Sketch Interface Papers Due Now

Tracey Hammond issued a final call today for papers on the topic of sketch interface. You still have time, so here’s your chance, Tableteers and Mobileers to make your suggestions to people who will listen and do something with them.

Sketch Recognition is the automated understanding of hand-drawn diagrams. Many open problems still exist in designing sketch recognition systems.

“What are the open problems in sketch interfaces? How are we going to solve them? What are the problems that no one is working on?”

Submissions are NOT research papers, but are rants about sketch interfaces. So no excuses about not having any new work to submit!

Position papers are now due on 1/13/2010. (Note that Tracey said she will probably not check her email until tomorrow morning. 😉
