The invisible Tablet

Engadget asks: anyone else notice that the Tablet PC has become sort of invisible lately?

Robert Scoble responds: “Engadget is right. Microsoft is BLOWING it big time by not making the Tablet PC a bigger deal.”

Well, this isn’t the first time a company has left dollars on the table. They will go after it when they get hungry.

But Robert’s right, many people don’t know about Tablet PCs and even if they have heard of them, they really don’t know what they are. They’ve never seen or touched one.

I’ve been soooo much wanting to make a short to illustrate this. I’d love to take a video camera, walk the streets and ask people one question: “What is a Tablet PC?” I bet there would be some hilarious responses. It would be a good reminder that outside of the tech-savvy world (and even in it I bet!), that there’s still need to spread the word.

We can’t forget this.
