I enjoy writing little Tablet PC applications to see what’s feasible, or how useful things are, or sometimes because it looks like it is fun to do. One of the benefits of coding multiple applications is that I slowly build up a set of tools that I can reuse.
One component that I’ve been working on is an edit/title area. I’m using this code in WebcamNotes, for instance, for the title area of the app. In another permutation of the same code, I dabbled with creating a somewhat generic ink-enabled forms app, but eventually trimmed it down to an even smaller ink-based contact program. A screenshot is shown at right.
What’s funny is that I don’t use the program all that much. It’s not that it’s bad. It’s just that I didn’t design it sufficiently so that entering contact information in ink is something I want to do. I’d rather just copy/paste contact info from emails rather than handwrite it in. Anyway, maybe someday I’ll get back to it.
Cool! This would be a good thing to write as a Niobe plug-in 🙂
