Learners Distinguish How to from What to Learn

(THIS PAGE IS UNDERGOING A LIVE, MAJOR EDIT. THANKS FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION.)

A Learners’ View (ALV) is the Straightest and Fastest Path with the Least Number of Steps to Learning, the Oxygen Of Social Life.

What is a 1.0 Teacher

Students of a teacher who earns a 1.0 rating consistently learn everything that teacher instructs. This rating is the ambition of professional educators and the seldom spoken or written standard against which conventional wisdom compares teacher performance.

Technically, a 1.0 teacher matches lesson plans, instruction, and lesson content with choices learners will likely (probably) make to learn each lesson. ALV features likely choices of learners among generic parts of each lesson.

Experimental behavioral scientists have been reporting descriptions of these likelihoods for over a century. They have also described ways to increase changes of lessons matching choices learners make while learning lessons. Teachers who apply these descriptions will likely increase their rating closer to 1.0.
