Family and friends have expressed interest in getting together on Sunday morning for a late breakfast. We decided to not do a formal get together for brunch. Instead, here are some places where you could choose to meet.
Marriott Residence Inn Seattle Downtown / Lake Union and Silver Cloud Inn – Lake Union – Hotels offer buffett breakfast. Convenient fo those staying at the hotel.
Chandler’s Crab House – At South Lake Union across from the Marriott Residence Inn, Chandler’s Crab House serves weekend brunch.
Etta’s – If you’re headed toward Pike’s Place Market for the day, Etta’s is on the way. A Tom Douglass restaurant. If you have a group (8 or more), then Dahlia’s has more seating options for Sunday brunch.
Chinooks – Traditional Sunday brunch northwest style. Can seat large groups.
Ivar’s Salmon House – Want to see the fun neighborhood of Fremont or headed to Ballard Locks? Ivar’s Salmon House is on the north side of Lake Union and has beautiful views of the lake and downtown. Their Sunday brunch has many options, or you can always eat fish and chips from the front location in their outdoor seating area.
Oddfellows Cafe & Bar – Oddfellows is right next to our favorite bookstore, Eliott Bay Books. We really enjoy going here. Bench seating and sometimes you have to wait a few minutes, but well worth the wait.
13 coins – Old school, high back leather booths. Can’t beat their dungoness crab eggs benedict.
Oak Table in Kingston – If you’re up for a big adventure filled with delicious german pancakes and towering hot chocolates, take the Edmonds-Kingston ferry to the Oak Table. They serve lunch all day on Sunday. It’s a beautiful day trip too.
Also, be sure to check out Seattle attractions for things to see, do, and eat while you’re in town.
